I was arranging a special ‘covid-safe’ 80th birthday surprise and was asked to find a tenor who would be prepared to serenade a very special lady in her garden. I listened to/watched around 50 singers on the internet until I came across Vasili and knew he was just perfect! Vasili was very good at responding to all manner of queries and came up with suggestions as to a suitable repertoire. On the day itself, the weather was absolutely terrible, but Vasili was a real trooper and a consummate professional, not just giving a great performance whilst the heavens opened, but making it a truly touching and personal experience as well.
